Our Focus

Market Position

Our company was formed by experts that have made some of the well known brands in our industry. We are private owned business and position as a startup enterprise. Whilst our customers include some of the worlds biggest brands it is important to know that in 2024 we are new entrant and our focus is marketing to customers we already work with and smaller companies seeking innovation and value for money when choosing a processing platform.

Flexibility First

We are an organisation created by insurance business and technology professionals. From business experience we know that every insurer needs control of their services to market and from our technical experience we know that software has moved away from rigid one size fits all and exploiting the new capabilities is key to cost effective innovation. We seek to provide a solution not a software, our rwElements framework is the power behind this flexibility.

What We Can Offer

rwInnovate

Our solution as a service package to focus on delivering the results specified for the solution, focusing on solution rather than a rigid software spec.

rwElements

Complete Solution for Renew

A custom business rules "product" built using rwElements delivering the claims management process, initially replicating the features from the system to be replaced. Further, using the development as a service included in the annual fee to develop additional features as required to keep the system as an efficient business processing system.

The RW Difference

Traditional Approach

  • Perception of self service & low cost is a marketing tool that rarely delivers the value promised
  • The truth is hard to use and limited flexibility
  • Hidden costs emerge over time

Real costs are in the future

RW Approach

  • Solution delivery to service level agreement, not software spec
  • Honest and realistic cost model to avoid price shock
  • Flexible approach with joint responsibility

Realistic and transparent, joint accountability

Cost Shock Protection

We set clear cost expectations upfront and work together to keep future costs predictable and affordable. No surprises, no hidden fees - just honest pricing with shared responsibility.

AI-Supported, Agile Build

No 2025 design should ignore AI. Here's the RW approach.

Our AI Experience

  • • LLM inclusion since first prototypes in 2009
  • • SMS insurance quotations system as early example
  • • R&D examples with voice chat, text chat, agent models
  • • Happy to share our experience and tools

Our Settled Approach

  • • Fast-changing and exciting time for software
  • • Agentic AI is the key innovation for 2025
  • • AI replacing legacy menu-driven applications
  • • Focus on sustainable and reliable adoption

rwElements AI Integration

  • • AI tools included in rwElements framework
  • • On-premise and cloud options available
  • • AWS/Azure packaged/branded tooling
  • • First party (RW) and third party integrations

Transforming Requirements and Solutions Faster

Using AI to stay ahead on features and costs

Our Path Together

The steps forward in an RW agile project

1

Validate

Earn your confidence

  • • 8-week validation phase
  • • Working prototype and proof of concept
  • • Improve definition, confirm solution validation
2

Deliver

Set realistic budget, avoid ongoing shocks

  • • Years 1-2 delivery phase
  • • Active agile project, iterative design
  • • Reactive to changes, joint accountability
3

Sustain

Realistic about innovation needs

  • • Migrate and replace existing legacy
  • • Move to new platform
  • • Ongoing innovation and support

Runout Option: Not all systems need constant change. If a system is settled, RW offers ways to transition to a steady state maintenance basis assuming lower cost with less change.

Commercial Terms

Phase Timeline Cost Development Days
Solution Design & Validation Workshops Deposit 8 weeks 20% of Year 1 30 days
Year 1 Balance Year 1 £36,000 Up to 100 days
Year 2 Year 2 £45,000 Up to 100 days
Years 3-5 Years 3-5 £30,000/year Up to 50 days/year
Total 5-Year Investment - £180,000 -

Contract Terms - 5 Years

RW has front loaded effort to deliver and spreads the costs across the term. For this reason the term is initially fixed to the 5 year term.

Validation Deposit

We ask for a deposit because experience shows that it confirms that there is a commitment both sides. We make a guarantee on the deposit to emphasize that we know we need to prove we can. This is especially important for startup product.

Cost Shock Avoidance

Transparent pricing with no hidden costs and joint accountability for predictable costs throughout the partnership.
